The accident happened about 3:30 a.m. at mile marker 41 between Campbellsburg and Carrollton and the lanes didn’t reopen until 11:30 a.m., a Carrollton Police dispatcher said.
Parish told police he fell asleep at the wheel, Smith said. His truck swerved and took out about 200 feet of guardrail before driving off the road and turning over, Smith said.
