Jury Awards $1.275 Million in Damages to Crash Victim

A jury deliberated and determined that the victim of a car wreck should be awarded $1.275 million in damages following a four day trial. The plaintiff was injured in the accident in September 2005 when the truck driven by defendant swerved over the dividing line and hit the plaintiff's vehicle, causing the plantiff and his wife to suffer serious and permanent injuries. The injured plaintiff sued the other driver and his employer for the lifelong damages.
