2 Die from Motorcycle Wreck in Pike County, Kentucky

Pike County, Kentucky. According to Kentucky State Police, two people died Saturday afternoon, at approximately 2:00 p.m., as a result of a motorcycle wreck that involved a collision with a van while traveling on a Pike County road.

The Kentucky State Police have reported that the operator of the motorcycle, Lacy Pauley Jr., 26-year old of Pikeville, was riding a motorcycle on Kentucky-122 (Collins Highway) when he crashed into the van, and unfortunately died at the scene. Additionally, a passenger in the van, Pauline Loudermilk, 76-year old of Kimper, was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene.

The wreck is the subject of Kentucky State Police’s ongoing investigation to determine the cause of Sunday’s fatal crash.
