Hospital May Have Exposed Hundreds of Children to TB

"Officials say hundreds of children and staff at three Chicago-area hospitals may have been exposed to tuberculosis by a contagious health care worker. Dr. Stan Shulman, chief of pediatric infectious disease at Children's Memorial Hospital, said Friday that about 300 staff and 150 patients may have been exposed at that facility. Northwestern Memorial Hospital officials say 17 of its patients may be affected. The Chicago Department of Public Health says patients may also have been exposed at Evanston Hospital."
