Born and raised in Louisville, Jacob Levy attended Ballard High school. He earned his undergraduate degree in political science at Transylvania University. He graduated as Salutatorian with Summa Cum Laude honors from the University of Louisville Brandeis School Of Law. While there, Mr. Levy attained the highest grade in many classes, including Criminal Law (Spring 2012); Contemporary Problems in International Law (Fall 2012); Negotiable Instruments (Spring 2013); Constitutional Law II (Spring 2013); Bankruptcy (Fall 2013); and Accounting and Finance for Lawyers (Fall 2013). Mr. Levy was awarded the 2014 Medal of Excellence from the American College of Bankruptcy and was recognized as a Brandeis Scholar.
Mr. Levy worked with several prominent Louisville plaintiff’s attorneys before coming to work at Gray and White. He also completed two judicial externships, as well as an externship in the civil division of the County Attorney’s office. As a research assistant, Mr. Levy has twice been published in academic journals. Mr. Levy was admitted to the Kentucky bar in October of 2014. Mr. Levy has a passion for justice and compassion for injury victims, which is reflected in his hard work and results.
