According to the police, one drunk driver was responsible for having caused traffic chaos on New Circle Road in Lexington, Kentucky. Reportedly, the suspected drunk driver was operating a newer model red Lexus when it first rear-ended another driver by Tates Creek Road, then took off late that night. Minutes later, the same driver is believed to have rear ended another vehicle on the inner loop between Nicholasville and Harrodsburg Roads. The accident caused the lanes to be shut down for approximately one-half hour.

Witnesses told the police of their attempt to make the man suspected of driving intoxicated wait for police following the second accident, however, he claimed he did not think he hit anything while driving. The suspect and both drivers went to the hospital. All are expected to recover.
