November 8, 2011 - Powell County, Ky. - Two utility workers were taken to the hospital after their work truck was involved in a serious crash with a pickup truck and a semi tractor-trailer.
The incident took place on Wednesday, November 2, according to LEX18.com, around 10 a.m. The utility truck was traveling westbound on the Mountain Parkway around mile marker 18 when it was struck from behind by a Ford pickup truck.
The 2 vehicles were then struck by a semi. The impact sent the pickup truck over the safety wall on the side of the highway.
The 2 workers in the utility truck were taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation and there was no initial report on the extent of their injuries. None of the other drivers were injured in the crash.
