A Louisville accident involving a train that strikes a car nearly leaves two seriously injured. The incident took place at approximately 3:00 AM on Sunday morning, December 20, 2009 at the intersection of Main Street and Depot Street in Louisville.
According to reports, a Ford Focus traveling down Main Street became stuck on the railroad tracks early in the morning when a Burlington Northern train slammed into the car about five minutes later. The driver, Michael D. Clark, 24, of Lincoln, and his passenger, Ashley A. Clark, 23, of Lincoln, were able to exit the car before the train struck it.
