Fatal Crash near Jim Beam Distillery in Bullitt County Kills Woman

December 15, 2011 – Bullitt County, Ky. – A fatal crash left a woman dead on Friday, December 9, according to Bullitt County Sheriffs deputies.

reports that Amelia Smith, 60, of Bardstown was the victim of the deadly accident which occurred on KY-245 near the Jim Beam Distillery. The incident closed the road until crews were able to clear the wreckage.

The Bullitt County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash, which took place around noon that day. Deputies say Smith died at the scene from multiple blunt force injuries. No details have been released regarding the cause of the accident or if there were any others involved.
