A Kentucky hospital pharmacy mistake resulted in a young teen slipping into a coma. The hospital pharmacy filled the wrong prescription with a dangerous drug in a very high amount. The pharmacy mistake was not caught in time and the teen had already taken an overdose of the wrong medication. As hospitals and pharmacies dispense more and more medications with less staff to fill the orders these kinds of negligent errors are becoming more common in Kentucky.
