Car Accident Injures 15-year-old in Park City, Kentucky

June 13, 2012 – Park City, Ky. – According to the Bowling Green Daily Leader, James Fox, 15, was seriously injured after being hit by an oncoming vehicle on Sunday, June 10 just before 6 p.m.

The car accident occurred when Fox, a passenger in a 2001 Dodge truck at the time, got out of the vehicle while it was pulled over on the northbound side of Bon Ayr Road.

State Trooper Randy Chambers, who conducted the investigation, says that while the car was pulled over, Fox walked behind the truck and out into oncoming traffic on the road. That’s when he was hit by a 17-year-old driver, Zachary Sadler, in a 1997 Chevrolet

Fox was airlifted to the University of Louisville Medical Center where he is currently undergoing care.
