Motorist Hit by Semi Settles for Policy Limits

In just an instant the life of a 52-year-old father and husband was changed forever.

Our client was driving on a narrow state road when a semi-truck struck his vehicle. The driver of the semi was traveling too fast for conditions and forced our client off the road and into a ditch.

Our client had to be extracted from his vehicle with the jaws of life. He suffered a femur fracture and multiple rib fractures in the accident

But the Insurance Company Didn’t Want to Pay

Instead, the insurance company initially denied the claim and claimed that it was our client who was driving too fast for conditions. However, a reconstruction of the accident scene provided proof that it was the truck that was driving too fast. The reconstruction report was based on the tread marks and the angle of impact.

Once the report was complete, we presented it to the insurance company and the case was resolved prior to trial for the insurance policy limit.

If you or a loved one has been hurt in a truck accident case, then evidence will be important to your potential recovery.
